How to learn Japanese (or improve your skill) ? Here are a few suggestions :

With your search engine, try "japanese language". You'll certainly find some good sites to teach you some basics and give you some need to go further (at least I hope so). That's what happened to me.

I you're healthy, try the Assimil method (2 different prices, with or without audio support), or their quick learning book, or else, for computer addicts, the Eurotalk Interactive CD for PC & Mac, sob ! , not for Linux.

And if you like free softwares, have a look at http://www.njstar.com/ . There you can download the free working demo of their Japanese word processor, featuring an English-Japanese dictionnary. Here's one more reason for me to try and understand English.
