Le temps aujourd'hui à Nîmes

    You are at : Main page->Countries & Languages->Why Mongolia(n)

  Why learn Mongolian ? Here are some good reasons :

 - First, why Mongolia ?

     Its's the perfect place to ride a bike, or a horse. There are so few people : less than 3 million inhabitants for 1,500,000 km², and half of them are    nomads. so I guess  they don't care seeing people riding around with their camping gear. In some way Mongolia is a giant campsite, in which you can ride your bike... Mongolians are special guys. A few hundred years ago, they ruled a great part of the known world. Their favourite sports : wrestling, archery. So maybe one needs to be polite. ;-)

   If you happen to wonder (as I sometimes do) what would America would be like if Europeans hadn't interfered, then Mongolians can give you some idea. Some of them live as I imagine native americans did.

  Mongolians are bikers, at least for some of them. In many countries, bikes are seen as more affordable motor vehicules than cars, rather than something funny or unusual as we use to see them :

    Landscapes are gorgeous. Here are some links and photos to try and convince you :

--->Paysage et motos--------->Paysage I don't want to steal too many photos. You'd rather have a look a this site :

    Maybe you'd like to buy a yurt for a start, or some pieces of furniture. Then, try this site : http://www.mongolyurt.com

    So, to make it short, Mongolia is cool, and if we come to visit them, I think we need to know something about their language. I found some sites on the matter :
